idea: evil koi

In my journey to learn and become a tattoo artist, my friend Alf (an long time recipient of the art form) made the comment that the shops I go to may test me with a quick sketch. So he gives an idea, and I create it right on the spot. All comments welcome of course.

*note to self... hire to do tattoo design* little known fact, i'm obsessed with Koi and this is fantastic I love the motion and action in it, and also that its been a bit roughed up, which is so true of the legend of the koi.

This is great. He may be angry, but its still a beautiful drawing. I love the shading on his tail. I'd totally get this as a tattoo.

that's a serious intense looking bit of tattoo. it makes me think of the eastern tattoos seen in manga on yakuza. what i mean is, this looks like it would best, and most awesome [though painful] over someone's back as oppose to on an arm much smaller, in the more western fashion of tattooing.

no to say it couldn't work out small, but there could be so much more to it, if it were larger
