Artist's Comments

*PLEASE FULL-VIEW FOR DETAIL*
Environment: cityscape
Medium: blue pencil, pencil
Inspired by Naruto

One of my focuses right now is working on my backgrounds, so please feel free to critique (as with everything else I post here): I'd hate for my inspiration to turn this into nothing but a copy, I wanted this to be an original through that inspiration. I'm taking advice from one of the many artist I meet at NYC Comic-Con:

"If [I] can have as much fun with backgrounds as [I] do with characters..."

So far so good I think.

utterly beautiful. i'd offer some critique if my artistic knowledge covered anything close to what you're doing here... you're way beyond me.

HEy Hey, NOICE STUFF HERE! I love the level of detail that you got going on here, really good way to STRETCH YOURSELF!

As far as criticism goes i dont really have much, i think that you are learning and to have a starting point is good, i will be looking at your other Landscape pieces and seeing if you are developing any habits or anything.

One thing i would say that is much less a critique, and moreso design thoughts, you should utilize various Lineweights on building structires in different ares, to pull and push certain buildings closer or further away, thats it though. REALLY DOPE STUFF!

While Coconuts are HARD and ROUGH on the outside they have no core, and are HALLOW deep within. We should strive to be more like Peaches, soft and fuzzy on the outside, BUT AN UNBREAKABLE CORE within.

...ummmm....I can tell you that it sucks, you need to work on your brick sizes...but I would only say that because I don't want you stealing any work from me!

Your pro, reguardless of what your resume says! this is unbelievable! It's only a matter of time for you. You get your panel to panel work down, and you'll be good to go. You should at least get some background work...

It all depends on the environment you are trying to create, the atmosphere and scale.
I like this though.
