World: Zumimono
Medium: blue pencil | copic multiliner Date: April 2008 The third world/story for my 2008 thesis. Zumimono is where I did creature concepts. I'll upload those at some point as well. I plan on coloring this one. I still love how the water surface came out: the top showing the forest (which is being infected by some tree consuming fungus), and the bottom shows whats under the river. I made these specifically just for the environments, so I didn't add any creatures. Might add them when I color it. Zumimono is a mix of "irezumi" [tattoo] and "mono" [(living)thing]. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
